Covenant House
Many youth turn to drugs or alcohol to cope with life on the street, and young people often arrive at Covenant House addicted to alcohol or drugs. Evaluation, referral and education are the major focus of the Covenant House substance abuse program.
All Covenant House sites provide some level of substance abuse assistance on site including counseling, therapy and support groups. Covenant House staff members also refer clients for more comprehensive services including inpatient detoxification, residential rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation and counseling.
